Colourmanagement in Photoshop CS

Hi,

I've started using photoshop CS (X paintshop pro user) and I'm having trouble with the colour management.

I have the cm set to adobe 1998 and it will convert it to the profile that I've set it to when I open a document. However when I'm trying to save an image for the web the image is faded within the save for web window and I cannot get it to have the same colours or richness.

I have clicked on the ICC profile and it doesn't make a difference.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong ??:

cheers.
