Privacy in the web hosting businessThere are a lot of cases where people complaint that someone has hijacked their domains or their e-mail has been sold to guerilla marketers. I have also seen posts by hosting customers who blame their provider of stealing their domain.
You can see the number of web hosts has doubled worldwide within the last year but at the same time most people do not pay attention about customers privacy and data secutiry. I can suggest you not to purchase anything including domain, hosting and webmaster products and service if the web site is not under secure protocol (https://www.providersname...). Our privacy must be guaranteed by providers. Godaddy has recently launched a web site dedicated to privacy issues - thedangerofnoprivacy.com. Check it I think it might be helpful.
