Need Serious Help No cd drive/sound


a few days ago i tried to install a mini cam using my usb but it didnt work, and after that my sound devices are not working and my dvd drive and burning rom drive cannot be accessed in my computer, i went into device manager and my cd drives have yellow exclamation marks on them and my sound devices has the same thing. i would greatly appreciate help. thanks

My devices with yellow exclamation marks

- samsung cdr/rw
- samsung dvd-rom
- multimedia audio controller
- creative sb live value (wdm)
- MPU-401 compatible midi device
- unimodem half duplex audio device

Have you tried rebooting? The yellow "splats" signify a device conflict which is usually resolved by rebooting the system; it allows the PnP devices to reallocate resources which should fix the problem.

If that doesn't work, there's a few other things to try. You can manually look at each device w/ the splat and see what the actual problem is and try to fix it. Or you can manually delete each device from Device Manager then reboot and let your computer find them and install them again.
