Error 404 script error, help neededI am trying to use the 404 error script from here http://www.gidforums.com/t-1398.html It works fine on sending me an error, but it is displaying a error on line 67.
Here is the error: Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/lucnets/public_html/functions_err.inc.php:101) in /home/lucnets/public_html/functions_err.inc.php on line 67 What can I do about this? Also I have displayed the code that I copied from that page. I only changed the two things it said to. Last edited by admin : 21-Mar-2005 at 05:46.
Reason: Please insert your PHP code between
&
tags

The output STARTED at line number 101 inside the functions_err.inc.php file. Line no. 101 is the end of the file!
What probably happened is that when you copied the example code for the functions_err.inc.php file off the forum message, you also included a space right in the bit just after ?>. Look closely to see if there is indeed a space after that and remove it before saving the file again. |

Seems to be fine. I don't see a space after it. Any idea on what else it could be? I did not add any html to the script. Would that be a problem? I just left as is when I copied.

How hard would it be to get this to write to a log file. Like one called error.txt oe errorscript.txt or what ever a person wants to make it. The I can just check each day or something like that.
