Edit MBR or GRUB commands?

Hi, I've just installed Fedora Core 3 on a brand new drive, partitioned and configured as 'MASTER'. I configured my old XP drive as 'SLAVE'. I was under the impression that when Fedora installed it would auto-detect the presence of the XP system and add a boot option to GRUB. When I boot Linux and pause for boot options, I get 2 options 1) Fedora and 2) Other. When I select 'other' there are 2 commands that will execute. they are:
1) rootnoverify (hd0,0)
2) chainloader +1

What do I need to add or change to get xp to load so I can access the internet to inquire about a few other things that did not auto-detect (modem, sound card e.t.c.)

Thanks

Close this thread. I've decided to rearrange the disk drives and use Windows Boot manager.

Re: Edit MBR or GRUB commands?

Hi, it's easy
1st step, in your boot options you only have to change de command hd0,0 by hd0,1
2nd step, select reboot option and ready!!!!!!
enjoyit...
