simple graphics program on linuxHi,
I want to develop a small graphical application which can be invoked from command line on a linux box. I am looking for graphics libraries similar to borland graphics (BGI) library APIs on windows. I need to do some basic formatting on data such as printing Bold chars, underlining, multiple colors, text highlighting etc. This should not require Xserver running on the linux box. Any suggestions? Links? Thanks, |

You might consider curses or ncurses. There might already be some documentation with your Linux distribution, if not, you can look for some. Here's one for starters: Writing Programs with NCURSES Regards, Dave |
