Running argus script

Hello all!

I am kind of desparate already! The apache server is running.
The argus program is running.
I have a arguscgi script in the /usr/local/sbin/arguscgi and it has a symbolik link to the /usr/local/apache2/cgi-bin/.
It has execute permissions on it,
the aliasscrypt or is set to /usr/local/apache2/cgi-bin/

When I go to the browser I type localhost and nothing, I get the page not found mistake.

In the black screen I get the Status: 302 when I run the script.
In the error logs I get the File does not exist: /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/usr.

I really do not understand this, I am completly new to apache.

Please help somebody.

Allowee has a spectacular aura about
does it work when you visit
http://localhost/cgi-bin/arguscgi

you shouldn't include the full path, only the path that it is in inside cgi-bin

Hmmmm

Thanks a lot for the reply! Now I run the script as localhost.

Now at least the browser takes more time thinking, but it does not open the page.

In the apache logs I get this error: /usr/local/apache2/htdocs/cgi-bin

And in the browser I get this in the search: localhost

Any new ideas around there.

Thanks a lot for the help.
