This is one reason you should not make a site all in Flash. Use Flash to enhance your site but stick with HTML for the basic layout. That way if for some reason Flash won't load, or the user doesn't want to wait for the download time, they won't just leave -- they'll still get a lot of the information you intended them to get. In this case it took 30 seconds to download the site. If I was on my dial-up system I wonder how long I would have needed to wait? After 10 seconds I'm normally on to the next site. Outside of that, it's a good looking site. __________________

I'm not sure about the version but he updates it frequently so I would guess the latest version of Mozilla. He does have shockwave/flash, and when I changed the HTML code the was able to open the website with no problem.
When it did not work he said that all he saw was a blank white page nothing happening. I am also working on a HTML site to give options to visitiors but I'm first concentrating on the harder flash site... So any ideas on what I should change on my HTML code to make things more compatible? Any tips on what not to do? Thanks. |

When I looked at your website yesterday (with FireFox), I got a blank page too. Right now though, the page is loading but it's sure taking it's time doing that - and I am on broadband!
What did you change to make it work finally? __________________

It was something stupid. My friend tried to open it in his Mac and in that computer it would debug it and show the errors which were some file link errors. I changed my .swf file from main.swf to index.swf and I didn't change all the names in the HTML file! heh.
And as for the loading time, sorry about that... still trying to figure out how I can optimize it to reduce the size! Currently the .swf file is 2.2Megs so probably thats why its taking so long. Hmm, my mp3 file is abot 300kb so i dont think thats everything to do with it. |

Oh by the way I host the website from my computer, hehe. And my computer I mean laptop is and old slimtop thats really slow, heh. Eventually I'll upload this to a real server host. I bet that also adds to the slow speed?
