International merchant account

I was checking this forum and found a lot of interesting information about ecommerce and merchant accounts.
But what I am really interested in is payment processor that runs well outside USA and Canada? What are the alternatives for those who live in Central/Eastern Europe and Asia?

It all depends on the volume of your monthly transactions. If you have just started your business and you need a good and reliable payment processor, I would recommend 2co or ikobo.com They are both very good in what they do. Try in visit their websites and see if one of their offers can be the solution to your problem. Good luck

Thank you for your answer. I have reviewed their websites and made some google searches.
I understand that the more popular the company is the more unsatisfied customers it has… but I found some bad feedback about above companies.
As to 2checkout people complaint that their balances haven’t been calculated correct (www.reviewcentre.com).
And concerning ikobo I heard about blocked accounts. But I didn’t find any information as to the reason for this and the way the problem can be solved.

What country are you in btw?

As far as complaints - you are going to get them for every large company. Afterall, this is people's money we are talking about and most are always ready to complain before getting the entire story. And sometimes, especially with 2CO's support, that might take a couple of days. And we all tend to get a little impatient when it comes to money (especially our money).

I am using ikobo and I have never experienced this situation before. My account has never been blocked. There are people who just signup and expect to do any kind of transaction without reading any support page or simply skipping the verification process which is an important part in this industry. I am saying this because I have seen (and I am sure you did too) more than enough problems with other payment processor caused by different types of fraudulent acts. My advice is to be safe than sorry. Read that "term and conditions" page and you will never have a blocked account.

The bigger the company, the more complaints you'll find. Corey is right. I think that it would be better if you could have a hands on experience for both of those companies although 2co it will cost you a nice 49$ setup fee. You decide.

Thank you for your replies. You really helped me a lot.
I guess I have to start with reading ‘terms and conditions’ of the above companies and don’t draw any conclusions based on someone’s complaints.
Thanks again.

Yes, actually I’ve already found out the info concerning 3rd party integration on another forum.
But thank you for helping me.

And Corey_Bryant said that 2co support could take a couple of days. And what about ikobo support?
