hlp on choosing a career!
EITHER CHEF or COMPUTER SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN! i have to careers tht i really intrested at and really having hard time figuring out which career i should take up! I have to choose fast, as soon i would be going to UNI and must choose a good course for the career im heading for! COMPUTER SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN really good at this,can buuild a computer Closing my eyes,the thing is im afraid there wouldnt be much Job oppurtunities out there as there like millions of system techinicians in NEW ZEALAND and yah everywhere u go there a PC Technician! Chef Well im not really good at cooking etc,but it seems to be a cool job,really intresting as most chefs get to travel around the world,a lot ppl say tht this job is hard and stressing,PLZ EXPLAIN! so yah tell me the GOOD AND BADS of either these 2 jobs! |

first of all, working in a hotel is not all glitz and glamour.
I would suggest doing what you REALLY are interested to do; if that is tinkering with computers, then do that. Don't worry about the numbers (when it comes to computers); soon they'll be as many as there are people in the world. e.g. Look at my website, there's so many similar to mine and yet I still get new readers everyday. I don't want to discourage you but put yourself in a Chef's shoe for a while - you are stuck all day (0800hrs - 2200hrs), EVERYDAY, inside a hot, stuffy, smoky, wet and often crowded, kitchen. Not a very pleasant way to earn a living - that's why most successful Chefs are passionate about their jobs, cause without passion, no sane person would do it. |
