Vilitas updates - register_globals

Had a couple of emails from Vilitas about php updates and stuff, warning they were swtiching off "register_globals".

So they did, and my old "popper" webmail script promptly broke. (:
(not a problem though).

Guess what? second email today said that due to issues with other customers they switched it back on again. Too late for me as I'd already cleaned up the site and removed it.

Moral? yes! dont use any old scripts that expect "register_globals" to be on!

Cya,
Nick.
(hosting with vilitas and extremely happy with it!)
