I have come to the GID Forums for some help and advise!

I was looking for some quality FREE web space. The 000k server came highly recommended. On a second try, I was successfully able to submit my email and got a validation email back with a "Validation Code." I went to the validation link and provided the required information and requested an initial "bagchip.000k3.com" sub-domain address rather than a domain address. This went fine. After getting validated, I received a second "Sign-up Confirmation" email from 000k, which said the following:

"Sign-up received. Your account should be created instantly. However, if some information is missing or mismatched, account will be manually created. This may take up to 3 working days."

Previously I went through a similar experience and never heard from 000k. Am I missing something? Can some one, experienced with such sigh up with 000k, can tell me where and how would I get to the c-panel and what user name and password should I use?

A web email inquiry to the customer service directed me to the FAQ, which was of not much help!

i have a question about 000k. i also have a site that is hosted by them, but i can't get into the site at the moment. you posted the URL to yours, and clicking on that link, i also can't get into your site. do you think that 000k in its entirety is down. if not, there must be something wrong with my account. you're right, it's really hard to get some support on this from 000k's end. any help you have would be much appreciated!

I have a website hosted by 000k and it has been down at least since last Sunday (27 Feb). Looks like there entie server is indeed down, though this seems hard to believe

very strange, indeed. my site (www.powerbookrepairshop.com) has been down for about 1.5 weeks as well. i hope they get the sites back up! i did some web searching and have tried out a number of other 000k-hosted sites. none of them seem to be working either. well, if anybody has any luck with contacting 000k and getting some answers about when it's all going back up, let us know.

I see what you mean! I also can't see my site either!

I really don't know what is going on! Their main site [000k.com is visible. So, I do not think that their entire site is down. I have sent emails to them. They simply refer me to their FAQ page! That is not of much help. Their affiliate page:

www.****.com

shows all the *.000k3.com subdomains. I could not load any of them! May be their 000k3.com systems are down.

Please keep me informed if you learn something new.

Hi everyone I just joined!

I am sorry to hear that everyone is experiencing the same probs as myself.

I used the site for coppermine feature. I was making a photo gallery for a charity site, and 000K had everying I was after. A coppermine gallery on the server so all it was all installed for you near enough. I didnt have to buy a extra domain, just use a sub domain. no adds. perfect.

I try to logg on to the site to add some new photos for the charity and it doesn't work anymore. I tried emailing them and get the referral to the FAQ like everyone else, like that helps. :-?


Does anyone have any ideas of another free host that offer the same near enough as 000k? It doesnt have to have the coppermine on it, I can always try and install it if has the right features.

This is exactly what I found! Also, other people found the same thing. I am not sure what is going on.
