This is a very neat little proggy that I just found called PDF995 which allows you to instantly create PDF files by pressing print in a program (and selecting PDF995 as the printer) choose a save path and voila its all done.

The free version of PDF995 will display a sponsor page in your web browser each time you create a PDF file. If you would prefer not to see sponsor pages, you may download a license key for $9.95. (the popup isn't even annoying since it is only when you actually use the print facility and not when the pdf is being checked out).

There are some other programs too which I haven't tried yet on the site.
One is called PDFedit995 which does this:
With pdfEdit995 you can customize your pdf995 output with an easy-to-use utility: Preview and email documents, insert bookmarks, add links, combine files, change page orientation, add "Confidential" stamps, create PDF stationery, adjust image resolution, summarize documents, create batch print jobs from Microsoft Office applications and choose from several file naming methods to bypass the Save As dialog in Pdf995.

There is also a digital signature program too in case you want to protect your content.

I use ghost script and ghost view and I don't have to deal with any sponser add. Check out PS2PDF this will describe how to do it online or you can download the software that they use and use it offline.
