Now I'm not overly certain of what I am on about here but here goes. I came across this unique service called PortlandSQL where I suppose if you are using a host that doesn't support MySQL. It also supports Escapade if anyone knows what I am on about (have a look at the FAQ if not). The FREE plan gives you 2mb space with unlimited access.

I totally agree with Garth...stay far far away from this service. Portland is unreliable, slow, and just plain pathetic. I know many people who have used their MySQL database, and they were unsatisifed. But then again, I guess you really can't get anything good for free.

So far, I have read only positive things about this latest version from MySQL.
