problem with sqlite_open() function in php5.0.3

jenish is an unknown quantity at this point

problem with sqlite_open() function in php5.0.3

i have installed php5.0.3 ,which have sqlite inbuilt .
but whenever I try to open database or create database in PHP script it gives me an error as follow .

Warning: sqlite_open() [function.sqlite-open]: unable to open database: /root/db in /www/htdocs/new1.php on line 4 failed to open/create the database

try to help me. ;-)
