Re: Command & Conquer 95 under XPhi you guys!
i'm gianluca from italy. i found this forum searching by google how to resolve problems due to C&C95/windows xp uncompatibility. i followed the "famous instructions" (patches, compatibility mode... all displayed in the first post of this thread) but now i've got another problem. when i try to run the c&c's executable, i see that's coming an error. it's like this (i used the screenshoot button) ![]() i don't know what it means... maybe because there isn't written NOTHING!!! ;-) do you? please answer me soon. thanks a lot!!!! |

Re: Command & Conquer 95 under XPWow, that's really informative. You should consider sending it to www.wtf.com for the Pop-up Potpourri. You might be the winner.
Other than that, I don't think there's much anyone can do to help you. Obviously the "error" doesn't provide any clues. If you've tried everything else in the tips here, then you may just have to give up on your game and buy a new version. __________________

Re: Command & Conquer 95 under XPYeah, hell, I've got the same message as saari683 and I just have no idea. It appears as soon as I try to install the game, after following the steps in the original post. Oh yes, the url with the directx-patch posted by dexter doesn't work any longer.
This error-message really should get the price for "most stupid error message of all times"... |
