Trinitron setup

HI I'm hoping for some help. I have a Trinitron model N-701T monitor that I can't get the setup on the screen to stop showing every time I turn the computer on.
Thanks so much.

Do you mean the monitor setup screen (things like contrast, position, pincushion, etc.)? There may be a setting within the actual screen setup that should fix it for you; it could be like the TV's that show your channel when you first turn it on.

I guess a better question is: does it turn off after awhile? If not, then I'd look in the manual (if you have it) and see if there's something special about it. You might also try the company's web site.

Yes I mean (things like contrast, position, pincushion, etc.) When I hit the exit button it clears off till I boot back up after shut down till I turn the computer back on.

No I have to hit the exit button to get rid of it. The manual is a joke as it doesn't tell me how to fix this and I can't find the web site for Trinition.

Thanks so much Kathy
