Free copy of Runtime Revolution

By being a "member" of Novell's Cool Solutions email list, I got a notice that Runtime Revolution is available to the email readers for free. Here's what the website says about it:
Quote:
Revolution provides you with all the tools to build fantastic looking applications in no time at all - it includes a pre-built application shell plus all the interface widgets ready-made, in native look and feel for each of the major operating systems. Revolution allows you to design your application starting with the interface and then adding functionality, ensuring that you create a great user experience, and hence a great application, in the shortest possible time.

Revolution's English-like scripting language, Transcript, is an 'instant' compiled high-level language with a vast library of commands and functions. Scripts can be dropped straight into the interface objects that trigger them, or anywhere along the pre-set message paths, providing huge flexibility with how you structure your message handling. Transcript's debugging and tracing tools allow you to see exactly what happens when your code executes, and, coupled with the ability to switch instantly from coding to testing, ensures that your development process is as rapid and bug resilient as possible.

Revolution allows you to create true standalone applications for any of the major platforms - Windows, Linux, Unix, Mac OS X and Classic. Develop on the operating system of your choice and preview the look and feel of your target platform. Develop Linux and Unix applications on Windows, develop Windows applications on Mac OS X - you have total flexibility over where you develop and where you deliver. And when you deliver, you don't incur additional license or royalty fees - maximising your revenue and pricing flexibility, while minimising your administration.
So, for anyone who's interested, here's the link from the Novell web site: http://www.novell.com/coolsolutions/feature/1863.html. My download was for Linux (naturally since Novell owns SUSE now) but they do have links to other OSes (can't guarantee they're free also).

Here's the link to the Revolution site: http://revolution.runrev.com/. I also encourage anyone to subscribe to the Novell emails since there's lots of good nuggets like this.
