I heard Malaysia got hit with the after effects of the tsunami... Everything good down their?

I saw a hotel on the news get hit pretty hard with big waves.

Yeah...I hope all members from that area are ok.

Well, not that badly hit, but still is a horror since we never expected our peaceful country would face tsunami... first time facing such an icredeble force of nature, anyway, my condolences to those effected...

in my area, we only felt the shake from the quake, the north side is mostly effected expecially the Penang island, where i usd to study before, hope my friends and family there are ok.. so far no one involved in the tragedy...

In case anyone is wondering, I am ok! My absence on the forums had nothing whatsoever to do with the tsunami. As max explained, we were not as badly affected by it as say, Thailand. If not for the island of Sumatra being in the way, Malaysia would probably be the hardest hit - which is a sobering thought!
