Re: [HOWTO]Belkin 54G Wireless card in linux (Broadcom chip)Hi Nasdero
I don't know about Kubuntu distro but in Fedora I had to add "bcm43xx" to blacklist ("/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist" in Fedora) I hope that helps Seme |

Re: [HOWTO] Belkin 54G Wireless card in linux (Broadcom chip)Hi, i have the same card and im trying to install it, so far i did all of what you wrote here and it worked, one thing is that when i get the message "driver present, driver installed" i also get the message "alternate driver: ssb"
something like that and i try to unload that driver but i get that the driver is used by B43. i looked on a site and it said that this means that there are two drivers for the card. and that my driver isnt been used . what cna i do to solve this? |
