Question

What AGP speed do I have?

How do you tell what speed your AGP port is? (ex. 2X, 4X or 8X)??

Thanks for the help!

Easiest is to look at your mobo manual. You can also go to the manufacturer's web site and see what it says. Beyond that, diagnostics software is probably the next step.

You mean the speed of the video card? I know 2x/4x use the same connector, but I want to say 8x has a different connector. What that means is an 8x mobo will handle all speed cards but you may not be able to use an 8x card in a 4x mobo. I can't say for certain though; you may want to investigate further or make sure you can return your product if it's not compatible.
