phpbb2

Is it phpBB2 with a gray skin.
It looks very coporate, businessy.

I don't like the email buttons showing your members addreses as mailto
There is a mod for hiding the real address.

BTW did you get the security memo about a new security flaw discovered in the beginning of december, I didn't I only found out by accident because I was llooking for a new mod. Check the update at the home page.

I received both the phpbb notice, as well as the php one.

Do you think the graphics are to dark?
- Too dark? Only in some areas. But they can be improved... For example: The top menu doesn't quite look like it fits into the rest of the design. While you have a design that shows a lot of rounded shapes, your menu is a box- doesn't work.

What is the quality of content like?
- Content? Where?

Do you like the general design
- It does look very appealing, until you view the links, and a lot of the other css changes. If you add a shine or sparkle to the header's text, the header will look a bit better.

A few additional flaws:
1) The username and password text is too large. It should be smaller.
2) The long bar that is used behind your forum headings does not fit. If you cut it in half, the equator, and took the top half, did a vertical mirror of that, and pasted it where the bottom half is, it would look a lot better.
3) The recent posts looks a bit cluttered. At first I wasn't sure that the black text on dark background was an actual link. I suggest having a different structure for this area, as well as an offwhite or light grey color for the links.
4) When you mouse over a section under Threads, the color is like a greenish one, try using something a bit more related to the current color scheme. Maybe a darker shade of grey, but not too dark to the point where you wouldn't be able to read the black text.

If I was to rate this skin, I would say it is a a step down from the original phpbb skin.

In my books, I wouldn't suggest using it. If you are however looking for a very nice dark phpbb skin, I have used one in the past that would look great.

If this forum is for your main domain, I would suggest modifying the default phpbb look to fit this. The only image you have to edit, is the phpbb logo, which will actually be replaced by your own.

Yeah, the colors are too dark.
One other problem that you may want to deal with is that with Netscape version 6, at 1024 x 768 resolution, the top image does not show up correctly... mabye its just these cheesy computers here at my school? I dunno, but you may want to take a look at it

Actually, considering your nickname on the forum, I think "Dark" represents you
I loved your little forum (I think that was the "content"), but I'm no site expert, just a surfer...

Kind regards,
Luci

I noticed that if I go to the link from the forum to check out your company - AAIT, there's no link to get back to the chat/forum area.

It is kind of dark on the forum - kind of like one of those warez sites. Maybe you could make those headlines neon purple or something to stand out more.
