a tip on using easy php

hi there,

I have easy php on XP works great.

I have two versions running!!

I do this because I like to download lots of free scripts and code snippets, many of these free scripts have been about since before PHP 4.2 this means that the variables have not been defined correctly and so they will not work properly on up to date PHP setup.

BUT they are really good for learning how to do things the right way.

So when you download easyPHP1.7 the latest version you should also get easyPHP1.6

So you can test any script you want to see what it does then later you can define the variables properly and run it in easyPHP1.7 to see if it will work on the latest PHP setup.

BTW you cannot run both version at the same time I only run 1.6 when I am online searching for good code snippets and I only run 1.7 when I am offfline this way I don't get confused.

I hope you find this tip helpful
