Thoughts on Half-Life 2

Has anyone here played the Half-Life 2 yet? If so I thought I would ask for your input on the game ofc please keep any spoiler out of your post. I have to say that I haven’t beaten the game yet but since starting it I have had a hard time putting it down. I’m really impressed with the Character facial expressions, I was also taken in by the AI, it path fining abilities, and it realism on how the AI won’t simply rush into a gun fight but will look for cover. The game as been a pleasure to play thus far, The graphics and over all feel are great and then adding in the fact that this game isn’t nearly as needy as Doom 3 was system wise. I would like to hear what you guys think about it.

I liked playing Half-Life and I think it's a classic. I can see myself playing it even when I am 50. It was so good (at least to me) that Half-Life2 must be something totally out of this world.

I will definitely get this game myself one day but not until I get my new machine. In the meantime, I will be the jealous guy.

Yep the first one was really cool I still do play it. maybe sometime we can get together and I can fire up the server I once had and we can go head to head. But you have to let me know when you get the second one and what you think about it.

I LOVE Half Life.... I bought it in mid 2003 (yeah, I'm a late starter for these things) and have played it regularly (except for when I'm big into playing a Final Fantasy game like FF VII (which I'm playing now) ) ever since. Only reason I haven't got HL2 yet is because I can't afford it... No job + School + 170,000+ miles on my dying T-bird = not much chances of getting HL2 anytime soon :-( :-( Anyway, I have to drive to get to school and I have to go to school to get a decent job so I gotta take care of my car! But that's another subject. Anyway, HL is awesome with Steam... Ahh... The Day of Defeat mod... :-) I can't wait to play HL2...and of course all of the source versions of HL1 mods offered on Steam!
