Auto-install driving me nuts!My turn for some help
On one system I use (not mine, thank goodness) every time we open IE, Front Page starts an automatic install. We have to cancel it 3 times before the browser kicks in. We do have FP 2000 installed, it's FP 2003 that wants to install. We don't have the media for it. Any ideas where to kill this install process? All the more reason to use Mozilla __________________

There's a similar problem on a computer in my office; opening an Acrobat file causing Windows to try and install a journaling file system. Obviously I don't know the full details, but tech support went in and disabled/deleted the journaling system file. You may try removing FP'03 or something simliar. Sorry I can't give you better details; you know how IT people are about giving out information.
It's a sad state of affairs when I know more than the supposed IT "gurus"; I had to explain what a journaling FS is to the guy. He had no idea what it did so they just deleted it whenever the message came up. Our contract is w/ EDS (as is all military), so that may explain it. :-) __________________
