Question

server Apache error

Hi,
we have this type of problem:
- we open "Blazer" in the emulator of PalmOS
- we put in the url certif.nlm.nih.gov
- the page is opened correctly
- we clik on "Search MEDLINE/PubMed"
- we select "Search MEDLINE/PubMed with no filters"
- we write the query (for example: aulin reactions)
- then we clik on "Search" botton.

The message that appear is:
" Method not allowed
The request method POST si not allowed for the URL
/nlm/pubmed/index.html.
------------------------------
Apache/1.3.26 Server at
certif.nlm.nih.gov Port 8080 "

We don't understand what type of error is this and we cannot access to the server Apache for configuration (because it isn't an our server!).
What can we do?!? Please, help us...we are very very
thanks

I just checked that page and it seems to be working fine for me, it is POSTing to a .cgi and I'm getting results.

If you still have problems please first try if it works with another browser and if that still fails i'll look into it a bit more

Hi,
the question is: did you try on a PDA?!? because on the browser of the PC we don't have this problem!
If you tried on PDA, what type of browser did you use?
Thanks

Haven't tried on a PDA, don't have one..

But I don't think that would be needed to test a website.

I can't imagine why a website would be build to be 'broken' for PDA's and would work fine with a 'normal' browser...
and as the site states.. it's designed for PDA's

The only thing I can think of is that the PDA browser is broken and not the website
