Is this all attachments or only certain ones? I use thunderbird and I am able to view all my attachments. I have to click on them and then it asks what i want to do with it (ie open it or save it). There is a drop down box for open and it has the correct application name to open it with.

What attachments in particular are you struggling with?

For example ihave an email containing a price list, the price list in the ms outlook i can see it the way was send e,g excell file.
but with thunderbird it shows the email like example when u copy paste data from excell to notepad.
Or, again some emails that in msoutlook i can see them and read them, in thunderbird even if i double click and open the message it doesn't show anything, only the sender and the subject.

Hi eldiablo. I am still kind of guessing at what the problem is, so don't get frustrated if I am wrong

Thunderbird does not "embed" the attachments in the post for a very good reason. (It is one of the reasons that I have banned Outlook from my office).

You should see the attachments down at the bottom of the message. Then you should double click on the attachment name and not the message. I am running 0.9 and I am able to open attachments of any kind as long as i have the appropriate software installed for that attachment.
