Whoa... this is something NEW!I put this article online on Jan 25 (so just 4 days ago?) and it's already appearing on Google!!!
How is that? This is definitely something NEW, never happened before and I hope it's not something 'accidental' or just a fluke... The Page: mod rewrite - Fake Directories. Google SERP: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&i...=Google+Search __________________

Its the "fresh effect"
Pages that are updated often get spidered frequently, and new content is often seen in Google results for a few days after being spidered. This content will likely disappear in 4-5 days, and come back when the real update takes place. If you are running a site with constantly updated content, chances are good that you'll maintain this type of type of behaviour. That article seems to be in for good now...I see that it has been cached even though I don't see a date. |
