Locked out of Win2KI was trying to map a drive from another computer when it kept asking for a password to the computer I was mapping to which is odd since the computer I was mapping to has no password as the password, but that’s not my real problem. The problem is I went to the main computer under passwords and check the box that says “users of this computer must enter a password”. I verified the user name I was using from the other computer to map the drive had no password, clicked OK, then uncheck the “user must enter password” box. I closed the password window and got a message box that said “…..log in has changed. Log out then log back in for changes to take effect.” I DIDN’T MAKE ANY CHANGES, but whatever. So later I had to restart the computer and upon booting back up it asked me to log in, WHAT! All the users have a no password password so I enter one of the user names and hit enter, nothing! I’m locked out, it won’t let me back in. I tried repairing Win2K but I’m still locked out.
How do I get around this to get back into my computer??? |

Never mind. Found some utilities that will change the password but that didn't fix the problem. I'm scrubing the system and starting from scatch. |
