IE 6.02 for XP issuesSo i'm housing sitting a friends' house and was working on a site I started about a week ago. I use IE 5.0 and sometimes Mozilla to check the compatability of my html, and my site never gave me errors. But now on IE 6 on XP (my friends PC), a script error occurs with any dhtml used. Maybe this is an option that can be selected, or is it a default option on XP IE?
When the page is viewed a drop down menu displays an error from the top of the screen saying "To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content..." You can then choose to ignore the error...anyone know whats going on here? The only javascript I use to bring up this error is an image preload and an image mouseover... |
