I have used Piwik in the past for tracking purpose and I found it to be very useful. I suggest you give it a go and I am sure you won't be disappointed. It has similar features to what Google analytics offers.

I think Google analytics is the best tool to analyze website traffic and sources. The tool helps to track my website progress in search engines.

Try gostats I would say use it along with GA but not as alternative.

Clicky is incredibly easy to navigate and the system doesn’t use any flash components so it’s easy to view from a mobile. Let’s face it, most Google Analytics apps limit the functionality so much that you can’t get much more than the basics when you’re on the go.

Re: Is there any tool better than Google analytics?

Hi,

There have been plenty of issues with Google Analytics that have been discussed in various posts on the web, such as this post by CrazyEgg. But despite the various issues with Google Analytics, it’s a popular tool and that’s due to two things:

Firstly, it’s free (until you go past around 10 million page views per month. Then it will cost you around $150,000/year) and secondly, it’s got plenty of features that see regular development.

Re: Is there any tool better than Google analytics?

Yes there is. Actually you can choose from dozens of alternatives more powerful than GA. Which one is the right choice for you depends on what your needs and budget are. One strong trend in analytics is towards adding features related not just to data analysis, but also campaign execution. So if you may want to check platforms that cover marketing automation as well.

I suggest you check review portals such as GetApp or Capptera or if you want to save time, look directly at one of analytics platforms comparisons.

Google Analytics is the best SEO tool for checking the website's traffic and ranking. Apart from this, Woorank is also another best seo tool for the website's analysis. I mostly use these two tools for my website.

Clicky is an another analytics provider that’s known for being easy to use. Aside from the real-time, detailed reports, It doesn’t use any Flash components. So you can get your analytics data even when using a mobile device. It also has dedicated mobile apps for most popular platforms.

Re: Is there any tool better than Google analytics?

Yes, for sure. Of course it depends on your needs. For most of the top 1m websites, Google Analytics is enough and they don't use another analytics tool. But for mobile apps, and people building mid-market and larger companies... lots of things crop up that push them towards another analytics tool (usually in addition to Google Analytics). Here are some reasons people move beyond GA...

Clunky event tracking. GA is really strong with automatic collection of page views and contextual information like sessions, the technology being used, location, etc. and they have powerful views for slicing and dicing that... but GA was not built to handle event data, and it's e

Personally identifiable information. If you want to track PII or "traits" about your users... like their company, role, seniority, industry... this is a total pain in GA. In fact, GA bans you from sending any PII at all. And even if you went ahead and did it anyways, you'd have to use custom dimensions and the whole tool is just set up to make these dimensions difficult to use. If you look at the Customer Profile views available in paid analytics tools, you'll see the sort of per-customer view that you're missing out on.
