Some (rare) research on optimum ad placementThere are some common "best practices" when it comes to ad placements on a webpage. Many of these are just common sense, but I have finally come across some research on how to best place advertisements.
The findings are interesting (long read though) and I will probably try to tweak some of my sites to implement their suggestions. http://www.poynterextra.org/eyetrack...dvertising.htm |

Great link! Even for "entertainment purposes only", it's an interesting article. Makes you realize why marketing people get paid the big bucks.
I also found it cool how they used the "heat vision" maps to track what people looked at. Wasn't there a James Bond movie that involved that? __________________
