Well I decided to take the splash and get myself a domain at dotster out of blatant impatience more than anything. I haven't got myself a paid host yet but I plonked myself at breezeland.
Could you test my site for speed (nothing else) at http://topfunwebsites.com . The pictures at the bottom are pretty funny it was just to put at least 500kb on to test it. I'm getting amazing speeds so please let me know how it fairs at your location.

Not too bad, I got about a 5-10 second load from my DSL connection. Love the picture of Queen Elizabeth with the war paint.

Found that at b3ta.com I thought it was hilarious. It actually appeared in a Japanese newspaper during the World Cup too.

I decided to have a go at this cgi-bin malarky and I made (well when I say made I mean set up) an e-postcard http://www.topfunwebsites.com/pd/postcards.html
which has only got one picture at the moment but will have more when I think of what one's to use it with. It can send it with music too but I can't get that to work so I might have to question you lot on what I am missing. I'm amazed that I managed to get it to work for one. The next stage is to use some punkass pictures with it.
