hope someone reading this someday will be able to solve this mystery for me...
i have a script at cgi.tripod.com and want it to be included in an html page... tried include, exec cgi, fp2k include page but NOTHING worked so far |

Did you save the html document that you were trying to include the cgi in as an shtml document? That was the secret that got me going.

it's a script, so if i 'include' it the way u did, it just passes the text of the script, so what u will see on the page is the code!

Well, what do you want, everything???
Try: <!--#exec cgi="" --> in the shtml doc and the html doc. Nick PS since this is tripod that we are talking about, you might have to put this file in the cgi-bin, unless you already thought of that. <font size=-1>[ This Message was edited by: nniehoff on 2001-11-07 23:49 ]</font> |

nope, <exec> is NOT supported by the Tripod cgi-bin setup, so can't use that either...
oh well, i will just go on using inline frames then. |

Try the exec and the shtml file on f2s and see if it works here, then try some other ones. I know that f2s supports SSI.
