Wassup again folks...I came here for a lil while while a couple of months ago, and now i'm back again to learn more about php mostly. This site is very useful. I must say this site helped me tons...it got me started with php and now I have developed my first textfile based CMS using php. I now have a dream of developing the best php database driven CMS..I truely believe this the key to simplicity with web-design. Once the CMS has been developed...fullly database driven sites will be too easy to make. This is hopefully my future I really enjoy webdesign. Thanx for tha help folks and see ya around ;-)

Yea you were the dude helping me out ...anyways this site has been a real inspiration to me without your help i wouldnt have gotten to this point...
I have been playing around with php for a couple of months now the only thing holding me back is my internet connection. Here in South Africa ADSL lines are just too expensive...and so are ISDN so I am left with a shitty dialup that very rarely has a good connection to my ISP (which is a very unreliable company)....I cannot wait for the day when I can freely program php without being restricted by connection issues...
My CMS is simple, just a platform to easily incorporate other php scripts. Damn if I had a permanent internet connection I could start to play around with databases...anyways I will be sure to post my progress as soon as I get a couple of things fixed up first....

I struggled with a dialup since 1996. It is just this year that I finally got broadband, so don't let that stop you. Even GIDForums™ was setup via my crappy dialup connection last December!

You don't need to be connected to the Internet if you're developing your PHP and MySQL scripts, though I am almost certain you already know this...
