Do you report them? And if so, do you get a response?

Most of the time, I do not get a response, but every so often, one company will actually email me back. Sasktel.net even responded & wanted a little more information from me.

I usually send a read receipt with the e-mails & some of the companies, especially the ones in China, just delete them.

I know others who have had similar experiences. They usually end up blocking off a big chunk of Chinese/Russian/Korean traffic.

Does your website attract a lot of of attacks, Corey? What do you do when that happens nowadays (besides the reporting stuff). I am glad this website is not that famous to attract unwanted attention like that, though I am sure one day it will happen.

I am just hoping, I'll know what to do by then....

Well I am sure that a few of them do Fortunately, the firewall stops them. It used to page me - but at two or three in the morning, that got a little irritating, since there was not too much I could do. The firewall was handling it. So it just emails me & I forward it over. I actually received another email this morning from sympatico.ca because I forgot to put in that the times were Pacific Daylight Time. So it seems they do look into this abuse as well.
