Unhappy

Do you want to send this error to Microsoft?

Hi guys,
Many times it happens with me that I am working on 4-5 IE windows and all of a sudden this message pops up and the moment I click on OK , all Windows gets closed. I am sure, many other are also having this problem. Isn't it annoying? Why it actually happens?

Having multiple IE windows open increases the overhead on your system. It's the same as having many different apps running, each taking up memory and system resources. By not having a tabbed interface, IE has to create (and take) new resources for each window. (As I recall, and I may be wrong, that was one of the big things about browsers getting tabs; it didn't require as much to create a new tab as it did a new browser window).

So, what may be happening is that having many IE windows opens "overloads" the system, causing IE to crash. And if one windows crashes, they all go.

I agree. With all the error messages that pop up, after the first 3 times of hitting "yes", what's the point of sending in more? MS already knows there's an issue, especially if everyone else in the world has the problem, and they'll either fix it or they won't. (Most likely won't).

I actually went ahead and just disabled the "send to MS" message in Control Panel so I'm not even bothered about it anymore.

M$ has an issue? I'll bet if you ask them it's operator error or a non M$ program causing the problem. M$ has no issues....

That's right, I forgot. They're all "features" or "enhancements". ;-)

wbsquared03 is on a distinguished road
i would suggest not using IE. Mozilla is so much better, and so much more stable than IE.
