GIDTemplate is finally ready. After many months developing many versions for the template management system that will power my own network of sites (present and future), GIDTemplate is finally ready.
![]() GIDTemplate is simply a bunch of PHP classes that help me create, edit and duplicate multiple styles (or markup) for a given web page and / or site. It's extremely powerful, handling conditional templates (just like the ones offered from the developers of this forum, vbulletin), cached templates and too many other useful details to list. I think I wrote and re-wrote the 'application' completely at least 6 times from the day I first decided to work on creating the system. The entire database design was the key, though I had to figure that out the hard way... Once I complete some other tests that I have planned and if there are no other bugs to fix, my very first attempt will be to use it for a dummy site on www.gidnetwork.com . Now, back to some local testing.... ![]() __________________

So will this super duper script ever be released to the public?

The problem with this and other scripts that I develop is that I never write them with the intention to release them one day. So there is no installation script, no README, no config file to set up.
However, since they are just a bunch of class files (that work together), I could share these files and one could put it all back together again quite easily. __________________
