Try this site http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/f...&threadId=6612

However, if you do a search on that dll, it will also show up as part of an adware program, so you might want to do a spyware scan.

Near as I can tell from google, it's a file related to Macromedia Director software. And maybe Shockwave. How to fix it, I don't know.

What are you trying to install? What is the actual error message? What Windows version are you using? Does the software maker have anything on their website?

I found this at MSKB: http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;302396. Maybe it's similar enough to your issue it can help.

Near as I can find on the 'net is that your program needs to use some Macromedia software to run animations or something. Look on the disc's directories for something dealing w/ Macromedia or one of their programs and try to install it. If you can do that, then try your program again and see if the error continues.

Well, the only other thing I can think of is download the latest versions of Flash, Shockwave, etc. and see if that works. If not, then I would contact the disc maker and tell them it doesn't work. They may have a solution or replace the disc. I can't think of anything else at this point.
