Cd Drive ProblemsI am running on xp , and i noticed that my two cd drives are not displayed in the my computer section.been to the device manager and both drives have error 19 problems.
Tried uninstalling then search new hardware each time it comes up hardware not working properly(error 19 again )tried a registry mechanic, went to safe mode and the conflict is there too. If someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated, thanks in advance. |

This is from the Visioneer site, but it sounds generic enough that you might try it. http://www.visioneer.com/support/gen...AQ/error19.asp Basically the link says it's a corrupt registry and you have to do a system restore to fix it. As you probably know, registry errors are the worst. Make sure you back up your data cuz you may have to do a format if it gets that bad. __________________
