I like how you set up adsense in the signatures. How did you do this? It seems like a good idea to get more revenue going. First time I have seen that, nice move. How successful are the results?

Are you referring to the Adsense ads between posts?

Inserting the AdSense / AdSonar ad unit between posts is not hard to do, just use if/else structures in your viewtopic/showthread PHP scripts. With vbulletin, things get a lot easier because you can use the conditional templates to manage this instead.

Have your forum script count the number of messages/posts in a thread.

If more than 1, then run a FOR loop, append the adsense code to the FIRST (message array element) loop.

(Else) If equal to 1, then just append the adsense code to the message. You're done!

Even if you could ad your Adsense ads in the signatures, it would be a bad idea. This is because everyone will do it and there could then end up being more than 10 Adsense ads on each page of the forum, which will then break Adsense's TOS.
