First PHPI want to write and design my first PHP but I need a little help. What I need is a simple script that will serach a MySQL database for txt file and return the link to that file to the users browser.

I was considering the script and it searching a database and I have found that since its searching for txt file in a dir It doesn't need a database.

what will the files hold? html, text (content)?
whatever you do, post some code so we know what to suggest. __________________

then use the db instead of files... why files? there are more disadvantages than the other way around!

The txt I was going to use are FAQs for games. Is there a way to load that into a db well I know there is a better question how.

Dude, stuff like that was MADE for a db!
