jrobbio will become famous soon enough

The second browser war

I just read a wonderful article by Ben Hammersley of the Guardian about IE losing a percentage of market share for the first time since about 1997. Its a more in depth article than that and talks about Googles possible plans with GMail (which I just managed to get ) and how Firefox and co are leading the way against the behemoth that is Microsoft.

Microsoft are actually going to release an update to XP that will tackle a series of major security holes and even would you believe it a pop up blocker. I'll believe it when I see it.

Here's the link: http://www.guardian.co.uk/online/sto...260994,00.html
