Taking 20 years to iron out bugs sounds like a cop out to me though. I wouldn't like to be the one that brings down the internet though. You wouldn't be a popular chappy. Rob |

I think it's more a symbolic gesture for ICANN--they're acknowledging that yes, this will be the future of the Internet. I think it's also a way for them to encourage people to switch over (IIRC, one needs to switch to the IPv6, but I could be wrong). There's no way this is going to be in use anytime soon.
