Greenock Hockey Club

I am currently working on my local hockey teams website and I was wondering what you guys think of it:

http://ghc.ithium.net

I decided to make my own logo. It's my first ever proper graphic It's alright I suppose. A lot better than the previous one though

I'm mainly looking for how accessible you think the site is, have I got all the sections you would expect and what to add/remove.

Thanks a lot.

Overall, you did well with the layout. Is this your first web site? I didn't think the logo was all that obvious since the maroon(?) on black bits on the sides seemed to blend so well.

You also have some PHP include path errors to fix...

The PHP errors means I haven't created the page yet. It's looking for something that isn't there.

And it's actually a dark blue Not black.

The left side is dark blue, and the headers are dark enough blue to look like a ligher shade of black, or a very very dark blue.

I would add some type of rollover effect for the navigation on the left side. Something other than just an underline.

It's all the same colour

Anyway, I lightened the blue a bit. Has that made a difference? I don't feel the links need a rollover effect as I don't feel it would add much to the site.

I don't know if you have all pages up yet, but I like the overall layout. Part of your heading/title is a little hard to read though (the text in maroon that overlaps the black background).

It's not black!!!

Mmmmmm. What could I do to make it readable?

If I make the text smaller it becomes too small. If I make the background image larger it becomes too distorted (I already had the image (I didn't make it) and I edited it to my use). I can't really make the red any lighter or it looks out of place and I can't make the blue lighter or it'll not look like the strip.

I think the maroon looks better with the silver design in the middle.

You have some garbage embedded in an alt attribute, which wouldn't matter except the garbage included a quotation mark, making it illegal garbage :-).
