Rabaril is on a distinguished road

GeForce FX 5200/D-Link DI-604

Ok these are actually two entirely seperate problems... I was looking around Google and found this site, started reading the posts and realized you guys might be able to help me!!! (Because XFX cannot lol)

Ok, Problem #1: GeForce FX 5200 256mb (replacing: Geforce 4 MX 440)

I bought a GeForce FX 5200 from Newegg.com because they were affordable (as always I didn't know they were buggy until afterwards) and I needed an upgrade, all of my games were running slowly and I had no hope of playing anything new...

So I install the newest drivers and the card runs as if it were an 8mb onboard chipset... So I was frustrated and tried my older card, unistalling and reinstalling the newest drivers..

Suddenly it stops working too, so now I am frustrated and go looking at the drivers to see if I can fix it...

(The drivers are now in the .05 series I think) I install the last driver from the .04 series and the card now works... But I feel like it isn't running as fast as it should be... Which is why I'm here... Many games are giving me warnings that my card isn't using the latest drivers and I may suffer in performance for it...

Has anyone had this problem with these drivers? And if so did you find a way to use the newest drivers and tweak them to work?

-One last note on this problem, can I overclock my card? I have never tried doing it because I didn't know much about hardware, now I feel capable of doing so, but I am a bit precautious with this card...

(Edit: I read the FAQ about overclocking cards... Specidic Questions:

-What do I need to watch out for when overclocking?
-What is a RAM sink?
-Supposing I need a new fan for the card, where would I need to look?
-What is the max I should try to OC this particular card?

Now, Problem #2:

I am having problems with my D-Link router opening ports for certain things, namely to host games... The knowledge base for the router is very VERY nice and thorough... But even after completeing all of the steps, I still am unable to host...

Problem occurs with:

-Steam
-Any Valve game
-And appearently any game that runs through Gamespy

Thanks for your help guys!
