Now that ive got that out of my system lol

if any body knows how so do it pls point me in the right direction
or maybe show us a script that creates them

hi crazydip,

i don't know what you mean exactly but you seemed to have answered your own question.

yes, it's the same code (as the one on the far right of this page) and you make it centred (or place it anywhere else on your page) by using iframes... so, did you want us to confirm that for you or you really don't get it yet?

Hi crazydip,

I don't have any idea what you're talking about, but I'm very curious, so could you please post your website when you're finished adding those centered scrollbars? Thanks!

Example

ok here goes...
pls dont laugh im a totally new to this and im just picking stuff up from tutorials ive found on the web

as requested

homepage.ntlworld.com

also there will be NO page showed in the iframe

if u have any probs with the page showing pls let me know as i said im new to this ....also this is something ive been messing about with doesnt make sense but i like it

if u wish to do this do the following

put this in the table you want to make an iframe

<IFRAME name="iframe" src="http://pageurl.com/page.html" width="328" height="297" scrolling="auto" frameborder="5" align="auto" marginwidth="50" marginheight="50">
</IFRAME>

then if you wish to link anything in that iframe u must type the following in
the same table

<a href="C:\Documents and Settings\crazydip\My Documents\crazys web\scroll .htm" TARGET="iframe">

with your own links hope that helps

also u can tweak the parimeters so play and enjoy

hope that explains it

P.S IF ANYBODY KNOWS THE SCRIPT TO CHANGE THE COLORS OF THE SCROLL PLS HELP ME THXS AGAIN

crazydip

Hi crazydip,

Thanks for the explanation! I understand what you mean, and yes, they can be done through simple iFrames. Personally, I'm not too fond of them myself, but they seem to be growing in popularity. I see them everywhere nowadays, especially sites that try to look more personal and "cool".

I do see that you've got the dreaded "w" word on your website.

Actually, I thought you had to insert a real webpage into the iFrame.

Doesn't it work the same way as a regular frame?
