Http connectionsCan anybody suggest me how to do http connections and access webpages on the internet from a C program? I tried reading about sockets but couldn't find much about the tutorial. I also came accross Winsock32.h file but then again I am working on UNIX platform. Is there any web tutorial or book that is really good at this. Please help me...

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about this. I just wanted to let you know that if you want to reply to a thread in the Tutorials section, you must create a reply thread in this section of the forum. We try to avoid posting comments/questions in the tutorial threads. Thanks!
