Possible virus?Norton quarantined a file on my computer called "system.exe". Does this sound like a virus file or is it something legitimate?
Also, every time I run Spybot, it comes up with 2 entries for DSO Exploit. What is this and how do I get rid of it for good? |

For more on DSO exploit visit this site;
http://www.nsclean.com/dsostop.html I would also run the Windows update because I am pretty sure M$ has plugged this hole. |

For those that don't know Spybot - Search and destroy is an adaware/scumware destroyer, which is very effective in what its designed to do. Another killer app part of it is the fact that you can effectively block a lot of Internet related (dare I say it Internet explorer) problems, by blacklisting a load of known processes. Your OS will be cleaner in no time. Rob p.s. GetFirefox |

Yeah, I actually downloaded Firefox not long ago...I'm using it with Spywareblaster. I haven't had any security issues since. Each time I run Spybot, the DSO Exploit shows up which makes me think I won't be able to completely remove it. I went to graymagic.com and checked the registry entry they said could resolve the DSO problem, but my registry value was already set to what they recommended. Go figure.
