Hi i need advise as to how to go about selling off some websites my brother had, he was killed in a car accident and i have no idea really as to how to keep them up, i have limited knowledge of html but im a police officer and i just dont have the time, im trying to sell them off for his wife and need to know how i can go about this, if anyone has any good suggestions, please let me know.

To be honest, I haven't really thought about what would happen to my sites if something like that happened to me. So I understand your predicament...

The 2 most obvious things to find out even before you think about selling or transfering the ownership is IF you are able to manage his domain name and his web server (site). Do you have access to these?
